e insurance and reinsurance brokerage sector within the framework of its plans to advance the insurance sector in Egypt in general, to raise the rate of insurance penetration, maximize its contribution to the national economy, enhance its attractiveness to investments, and improve the quality of services and products provided to citizens.

This came during an extensive meeting held by the head of the authority with representatives of all insurance and reinsurance brokerage companies, in the presence of Dr. Ahmed Abdel Aziz, the deputy head of the authority, Mr. Hamdi Badawi, the assistant head of the authority, and a number of its leaders and officials of the relevant departments.

Dr. Islam Azzam explained that the meeting with insurance and reinsurance brokers reflects the Authority’s ongoing approach to strengthening community dialogue, its commitment to continuous communication with all parties in the sectors under its supervision, and its efforts to discuss proposals for market development, capacity building, and efficiency improvement.

The attendees presented a number of proposals and observations, which the head of the authority promised to study and take the necessary action regarding in light of legal obligations and regulatory frameworks, taking into account market needs and conditions.
